Tara Reid first appeared in commercials on television when she was an infant. Her big break was after Tara Reid made an appearance in Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Even though her acting talents were questioned, she's certainly pulled off the roles she's played effortlessly. Her breakthrough came when she played Bunny as a character in The Big Lebowski. The movie proved to be an important stepping stone for her career, and she started getting offers for movies like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. But it is American Pie the cult movie about teenagers and sexual encounters which established Reid in the spotlight as a promising actress on the horizon in Hollywood due to her character as virgin Vicky. All this did not lead to the big success of her Hollywood career. Reid had several misfires with unsuccessful movies like Josie and the Pussycats. She did get part in American Pie 2 for a short time, but it didn't help her decline in career. Reid is more well-known for her celebrity lifestyle as well as a designer, rather than a real actress. her offscreen flimsies and publicized cosmetic surgery resulted in her becoming not a well-known actor.
